 Burlap and Bees
Boutique Décor and Gifts in The Heart of Historic Folsom

In like a lion, out like a lamb.  I just love this weather.  The ominous dark clouds and rain make it ok to stay inside with the kidscuddle up with a blanket and hot chocolate, and watch a movie without feeling guilty for getting nothing done.  Then the spring-like days, with sunny skies and nice cool weather motivates us to get out there, start new projects, and prepare for the many spring events that are coming up.  It’s nice to be able to do both this month.

Let’s Jump Right Into Spring Events.  There is a lot going on this Spring both at the shop and around town.  Get your calendars out – you won’t want to miss anything…
Saturday, March 8th 10am to 6pm:  Babi Market Day and Sale:  Rain for most of the week is supposed to clear for the weekend and be nice on Saturday.  We will have extra items out on the sidewalk and sale items in the store.
If you are interested in selling items at any of our Saturday Market Days, check out the Market Days link on the website.

Thursday, April 17th 11am-1pm:  Easter Tea with Melodee:  Join us for our popular Tea Tasting and Scones.  Celebrate Easter by joining us for a cup of our lovely Harney and Sons Teas and homemade scones and Devonshire cream.  Compliments of Burlap and Bees.  RSVP is suggested as seating is limited.

Saturday, April 26th 8am-3pm:  Mes Amis Vintage Show, Roseville:  Winner of Top 25 Flea Markets in America, Top Sale in The Country, and Readers Favorite Shows, this is an event not be missed.  The most inspiring and creative shops and vendors will be there.  This year, we will have Dee Foust Harvey (seen in Where Women Create, frm editor of Better Homes and Gardens Creative Collections, designer for Bethany Lowe) in our booth.  Stop by and say hello and see her new and original designs.  You can find Dee’s Bethany Lowe designs at Burlap and Bees and, starting in May, she will be carrying her own collection of favorite items and original designs with her line, Souvenir at Burlap and Bees.

Phew, that will keep you busy for a month or two.  See you at the shop and at the shows.

Btw – March 1 was our One Year Anniversary at the shop in Historic Folsom.  We want to take this time to thank our friends, family, and wonderful customers for a great year.
Lisa
