Busy...Busy...Bee

I have been very busy lately and really lovin it.  Rather than put down a lot of words, I'll just share pictures of what I have been working on....

Finally finished the hutch and got it into Melange.  Hutches are a bear to do and move but they sure add a lot to a room and make merchandise display much nicer.  Here is the redo of my space there.

French Provence Fabric Chairs and music notes hutch are both from Room with a Past.

And, here is my recent redo of my space at Room with a Past.  Garden theme for spring...

So fun to play with the different styles at each place.  Here is my latest spot at Paris Flea Market

Looking down from my space in the Cafe and Le Chic Boutique at all the paris flea merchandise and many, many shoppers.

Next redo will be to update my website with more recent merchandise and pictures but best bet is to follow me on facebook to stay most up to date on the treasures I find and the great places and events that I sell them at.

Patron Saint Valentine

In third century Rome, Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, so he outlawed marriage for young men. Valentine, a priest, realizing the injustice of such a decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

While in prison, awaiting his death, Valentine fell in love with his jailor's daughter — who visited him during his confinement.

Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote her a letter, which he signed "From your Valentine,"

St.Valentine was a sympathetic, heroic, and, most importantly, romantic figure. By the middle ages, Valentine was one of the most popular saints in England and France.

Pictures are from Melange in Historic Folsom.
